Parking at Resort (Poly)

We are driving - are you still issued a "parking pass" to display in your car or is everything checked with the magic band now?

We've had one on our past 2 trips in August. I want to add that finding parking was rather difficult in the early evenings due to the luau. I know you didn't ask but it really bothered me, so I thought I'd give you a heads up.

Thanks for the replies and the info about parking during the luau. I'll have to look up the time it starts while we are there - any idea how long the show is? And it sounds like if we are issued a parking pass of some kind it will come from the security guard and not the front desk?

We just got back from the Poly and the pass came from security... we did online check in and completely bypassed the front desk.

I'm not sure when you're going but there were 2 shows in the summer and the 2nd show got out right around MK fireworks time, if I remember correctly. I will add that there was always parking available over near the DVC longhouses it was just a longer walk for tired feet.
That said, the Poly is awesome and I hope you have a great trip!

I love the Poly! We also did online check in and skipped the front desk. When we arrived, the security guard scanned my magic band and gave me a pass. Have fun!
