Hi. Guys.
We are currently deciding if its worth hiring a car for our stay. We are staying at The Beach Club for 2 weeks.
We are planning on eating at Ohana and Bona during our stay.
Would we be permitted to park at the respective hotels from say late morning if our dinner reservation is for around 6pm?
Thanks in advance for any advice on this matter.

Paul.

And I don't know why you'd park at AKL for the day and bus. If you are going to Boma on your AK day, drive to AK, then drive to AKL for the reservation, then drive back to Beach Club.

Rather than paying to rent a car for 2 weeks and barely using it, we budget for a few taxi rides for resort to resort meals.
Parking at the resorts is for guests of that resort. That includes the mentioned 3 hours for dining etc. But late morning until after dinner is not allowed per the posted signs.

For 'Ohana, just park at the TTC. You're staying onsite so you won't pay to park. The walk over to the Polynesian is very pleasant, under 10 mins. Then you can come and go as you please.
For Boma, I would drive to AK, hit the park for the day, then move the car to AKL/Boma.

Parking at resorts is for those paying to stay there, or those enjoying the resort facilities. Parking there for the day, while you're at a park is not enjoying the facilities!
I doubt I would rent a car to do those two things....much easier to just take a cab if need be. For an ADR at 'Ohana, at 6pm, I would go to MK for the day, then monorail or boat over to the Polynesian for dinner. After dinner, head back to the MK and take the bus back to BC. For Boma, bus to AK for the day, then bus over to AK/Boma. Then, either take a bus to an open park and transfer to the BC bus, or get a cab from AK/Boma back to BC. Much cheaper than renting a car for a few days.

For two trips to resorts over a two week stay, it's not worth renting a car. If you were thinking of exploring the Central Florida area outside WDW, or dining at offsite restaurants, or doing some grocery runs, yes, it would be worth it.

Regarding the parking issue...no, they really don't want you leaving your car in a resort lot all day while you're at a theme park (other than your own resort, of course). There just aren't enough spaces in the resort lots to accommodate that. A cab or Uber will get you where you need to go quickly and relatively inexpensively, or, as others have suggested, use Disney transportation.

Thanks so much for the reply.
We are definitely leaning towards leaving the car and just getting cabs for the more awkward journeys like the waterparks etc.
I kind of thought the hotel parking would be how you described, just wanted a second opinion really.

I thought that this would be the case, just wanted do double check really.
I have to admit, it doesn't really make sense hiring a car for the couple of awkward journeys during our stay. We have just about ruled it out now.

Big thanks for all the replies guys.
I didn't want to take any liberties with the parking, so thought I'd get all your opinions first.
