parking at Rainforest Cafe in AK

hi - we have a 1pm ADR at the RC in AK. we're planning on hopping to EPCOT after lunch. can you park at the restaurant and go in thru the
back turnstiles in the morning. it would be so much easier when we're
ready to leave?

Not entirely sure that I understand your question? So, if I am misunderstanding what you want to do, please correct me.

But, yes, you can park in the DAK parking lot... use the turnstiles behind RFC to go in/out between the restaurant & park (anyone can do this--you don't actually have to be eating at RFC)... and then just drive your car on over to EPCOT when you are ready to hop.

Are you staying onsite, or offsite? If offsite, you will need to pay to park at DAK... but the parking pass is then good for the entire day, at ALL WDW parks (so you will NOT need to pay anything extra for parking when you hop and move your car to the EPCOT parking lot). If you are staying onsite, then parking is free of charge.

I didn't think Rainforest Cafe took ADR's. My brain has truly gone to mush I guess......

Rainforest does take ADR, but they aren't on the dinning plan

If Rainforest Cafe takes ADR , do you remember if you were able to do it thru Disney Dining Reserv. or did you have to call the Rainforest Cafe to get ADR ? This would be for the one at Animal Kingdom that I am asking about. I would like to try it for Dinner on the night that we'll be at Animal Kingdom. Thanks in advance.

I think the answer to the question is that the RFC in AK does NOT have its own parking lot. You have to park in the AK Parking lot to eat there.

I called disney dining for the ADR at the Rainforest Cafe in DAK. As for the
previous post, I'm pretty sure sure the RC at DAK does have its own
parking lot. you don't need to go into the park to eat there.

The RC does not have it's own parking lot, but you do not have to enter the park to eat there. You park in the AK lot and walk to the front entrance, the restaurant is on the left before you get to the ticket windows.

The Rainforest Cafe in the Animal Kingdom accepts reservations, you just call and get them through the same dining line for all ADRs. They are not on the dining plan. The Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney does not take reservations (they are also not on the dining plan).

1) Rainforest at AK does take ADR's through 407-WDW-DINE.
2) Rainforest at DTD does not take ADR's through 407-WDW-DINE.
3) Neither accept DDP.

4) There is no separate parking lot for Rainforest at AK.
5) You park in the AK lot, like everyone and take the tram.
6) You ARE able to hop to Epcot from AK.
7) But, the AK lot closes 2-hrs after AK closes.
8) So if you are not back in time, you cannot get your car.
