Parking at other hotels

This is the first year we've been onsite with a car. We are staying at SSR/OKW. I was wondering if it's possible to park at another resort for the day. We are having a day at Epcot, and heading to the Boardwalk after. I have no idea how long we would stay at the Boardwalk, so Epcot might be shut by the time we were finished there.

So, I was wondering whether it would be possible to park at BWV or something in the morning, walk to Epcot, do a day at Epcot, and then come back to the Boardwalk, then pick up the call from BWV and drive home? Or is that not allowed? And what about driving to other hotels for ADRs? You must be able to park there then? Is there perhaps a time restriction on how long you can park at a resort that is not your own? Thanks

"No" on leaving your car for the day at BWV if going to EPCOT. Best to drive to EPCOT (no charge for parking since you're staying at SSR/OKW), then, drive to the BW afterwards.

Regarding other ADR's or visits to other WDW reosrts, you'll be given a 3 hr parking pass when you arrive.

The lots at the BW are not for themepark access to Epcot unless you pay to valet park for the day.

Thanks for that. I thought there would be some kind of restriction on it, but I just couldn't find any information that told us what those restrictions were.

For the ADRs, is there like a special car park for visiting guests, and does it have disabled parking? Do you drive through the barriers and collect the pass there, or is that obtainable from Guest Services of the hotel? Thanks

For ADR's just stop at the guard shack and tell them you are there for a dining reservation. Some will hand out a 3 hour pass and others will not. there is no special parking for ADR's, it is generally the same lot for resort guests and there is handicap parking. for the GF I would suggest Valet as the guest lot is quiet a distance from the hotel.

Thanks for the tip. We have two ADRs at the GF. We will park at the TTC for one (going there before MNSSHP), but the other is breakfast before going to the water parks. :goodvibes

I would also suggest valet parking at BW.....guest parking is a hike from the main bldg,

Good to know, thanks. Is valet parking free? We will have annual passes if that makes a difference?

Techinically no you are not allowed, however, you can easily park at one of the Epcot resorts, take the boat over and then come back. It helps if you have an ADR where you are parking. If you don't, tell the guard you are shopping. You may or may not get a temp 3 hour pass. Others will disagree but you can do it. However, Boardwalk Guest parking (Not guests staying there) lot is pretty small. :3dglasses

I believe that valet is now $12 for the day. You can then leave your car there for the day. So if you valet at GF, then you can go to MK for the day and pick up the car at night. Annual pass does not get you a discount on the price. Before they had Tables in Wonderland, the program they used gave free valet with an ADR. I'm not sure if Tables in Wonderland offers this.

Okay, good to know, but not going to be worth it. I think for that particular breakfast we are heading off to the water parks afterward. So, it looks like it will be a long push to breakfast. Oh well, it will build up an appetite!:rotfl:
