We are staying off-site this time due to the last minute nature of our trip. (We planned last Friday for a trip net weekend) Anyway, we would like to see some of the monorail resorts on our days not in the parks. They are wonderful places to take walks, shop and eat. Does anyone know if we'll be able to park at any of these resorts to do the above things? And is there a time limit on their parking?
Thanks so much!

You shouldn't have a problem parking at one of the hotels and doing some shopping/eating/visiting!!! One of our favorite places to eat is at the Polynesian - the Tonga Toast is always worth a special trip!! Then you can ride the monorail to the other hotels to do your shopping!! I believe there is a 3 hr limit to the parking though (although last summer, we were not given anything when we parked at the Contemporary to eat at the Concourse Steakhouse - we were staying at the WL and they just waved us through).

Enjoy your trip!!!

You could also park at the TTC and take the monorail to the resorts. It's always fun to ride the monorail. Maybe you can even get the front cab!

If you self park at any WDW resort they will give you a 3hr parking pass...people trying to park at the resorts for free and enter the parks has gotten out of hand so now they have a time limit which is sufficient to allow enough time for dining or other resort visits. That said, you can also either valet park...they charge $6 per day for this (same as to park at the theme parks) or you can do as --Deb & Bill just suggested and park at the MK parking lot and take the monorail to the resorts :flower: But you won't have any trouble parking one way or the other if you go straight to the resorts...you'll just have a time limit if you self park.

if the resort is full - you will be asked to leave and go park in the TTC.

for off site guest I think the time limit is 2 hours - unless you have a PS reservation and can show the guard the PS number - then it is 3 to 6 hours depending upon the guard.

we got an all day pass - this last Nov - during Thanksgiving week!!!!
