Parking at Monorail resorts

We have breakfast reservations at each one of the monorail resorts during our trip. Our reservation is for 10 a.m. and I'm wondering if we can park at the resorts for the day or if we'd have to park at MK and take the monorail over to the resort. We have annual passes so we aren't paying for parking however, it would be much quicker to park at the resorts.

When dining at the resorts you are allowed to park for three hours. If you want to park your car for the day you should valet park at the resort. The cost is $20 per day.

Resort parking is reserved for guests staying at the resorts. You'll be allowed a few hours to accommodate your meal, but you'll be expected to move your car before you head to the park. Especially at the Contemporary and Bay Lake, which have walking access to the Magic Kingdom, lots of people have seen cars being towed. Your best bet is to park at the TTC and just ride the monorail over. Or, if dining at the Poly, just walk from the TTC.

Drive to the resort to have breakfast there. When done with activities at that resort, drive to your next destination, for example the Transportation and Ticket Center for Magic Kingdom.

The above represents a rule worldwide. Disney World has a notable exception. You may leave a car all day in a theme park lot (TTC lot for MK) and go to any location in the World using other transportation or on foot. Also Disney valet parking fee covers the entire day unless you are told otherwise by the valet personally. You may optionally lot hop without paying the fee again.

Disney should implement a system of time stamps. When you self-park at a resort you are not staying at you make a deposit including if you have an annual pass. Throughout the resort there would be time stamping clocks where you would "re-up" your parking privileges at least every so many hours plus during certain designated times such as sometime during Illuminations for Boardwalk and Beach Club. If the card you are provided with does not have enough required stampings then you do not get your deposit back.

If you are a paying, overnight guest at a resort, you are welcome to park there for as long as you want...and go wherever you want. If you pay to valet park, but are not a guest of the resort, you can leave your car and go wherever you wish.
If you are not a guest of that resort, but are eating/shopping there, you may self-park there while you are physically at that resort. You are then expected to move your car when you are leaving the resort.
Here's the thing.....it's actually no big deal to park at the TTC and then monorail to your ADRs. It's really not fair to those staying at the resort to have others park there, for the day, and leave and go to a park.
Now....can you get away with it? Probably. Do what you think is the right thing to do.

Thanks, I have never done ADR at the resorts before so wasn't sure how parking worked. I've heard using bus transportation to go resort to resort is difficult.

It can be time consuming. It really depends on where you're starting from and where you're headed.

Getting to the monorail resorts is easy. Just take the bus to MK and then the monorail or boat to the resort.
