Parking at MK then dinner at Epcot - monorail or car?

We'll be at MK for ropedrop and much of the day but have a 7:30pm reservation at Epcot for dinner. Assuming we'll be leaving Epcot around the same time as everyone else after Illuminations, would it be easier to drive our car from MK over to Epcot for dinner or easier to get back on the monorail to the TTC afterwards? Thanks!!

After staying at the Beach Club, Old Key West and depending on Disney Transportaion; especially the monorail, I learned , the less you depend on Disney Transportation the better off you are...Drive.

I would drive your car from the Magic Kingdom to Epcot because it will be a lot faster.

It depends.

If you park close enough to the TTC to walk, and the Magic Kingdom closes before 9 PM - leave your car there and use the monorail. Otherwise, take the others' advice and drive over.

Or... arrive early, drive to Epcot, park up front, monorail over to the Magic Kingdom. When you leave Epcot, your car will be right there!
