We are staying in a house this next trip (works out better for my large family...)..I am making PS for some restaurants in Dis hotels (Boma, Chef Mickeys). My question is, do I have to pay to park at the hotels when I am there having dinner or breakfast??
Thanks

Nope. Although they sometimes check to be sure that you really do have a PS. (Just to discourage "illegal" free parkers). Some hotels have a special parking area for those who are just there to eat and they expect cars to turn over there relatively quickly.

Don't know what would happen if you just left the car there too long. Maybe someone else will know that.

I heard that certain resorts will confirm you PS. They also will give a temporary parking pass - for like 2-3 hrs.

The strictest is the Contemporary. They will give a 3 hour pass. They want to discourage parking there to go to MK. They will ask you why you are there and ask for your PS #.

I have heard of cars being towed when they go over the 3 hour limit.

I just made Ps for chef mickey's for breakfast. We are staying at HIFS. The cm recommended that we park at MK and take monorail to contemporary.

Is this what you recommend?
Did she mean park at the TTC or MK?
How long does it take to park and ride to the contemporary?
I have no idea????

Thanks-
Melissa

Yes, that is what they usually recommend. Park at TTC and then monorail to CR.

I'm not sure how long it will take you cause it depends on where you park...can you walk or must you tram to the monorail? How long a wait for the monrail (did you just miss one?)?

BUT I'd say maybe 15 minutes max! The monorail ride itself will be about 5 minutes.

We've done this and it didn't take long at all. We were able to walk to the monorail both times.
