Parking at Hotel to Dine

If we go to a Disney park and pay to park there, will we need to pay to park at a hotel to dine? We are looking at booking dinner at a resort one evening.

No, only overnight guests pay to park at Disney resorts.

Paid parking at the resorts is only charged to overnight guests.

If you have a reservation for dinner, you should be ok to park there for dinner.

And how crazy is this. Back in the day one of the perks of a Disney resort was not paying for parking at the parks. With this change you can pay more to park at your resort than at the parks.

When I looked in May the deluxe resorts were more.

We have never had problems with parking if we have an ADR. They do check at the main gate, but we have never been turned away.
