Parking at hotel on checkout day

I read Izzymae's thread about parking at BWPPI on checkout day, and I have some other questions on this topic. Rather than highjack her thread, I thought I'd start one of my own.

We had pretty much decided to stay at BWPPI, but now I'm having second thoughts. It will be a pain to have to drive to the parking structure that morning before we go to the park. We are only staying for two nights, and the whole reason we're staying in a hotel in the first place, rather than driving back and forth, is so that we don't have to worry about transportation for our first visit to DL. After this, we'll mostly be doing day trips since we live close enough to drive.

Does anyone know if you have to move your car if you're staying at Park Vue or any of the other good neighbor hotels? I read in the other thread that Desert Inn and Suites and HoJo let you leave your car on checkout day, but I'd like to hear about experiences at the other hotels.

Thanks! :)

I dont remember having to move my car at either the park vue or the Carousel Inn even though parking is tight at that one. I've always told them I was leaving it and they have been fine. I know the Del Sol Inn told me to move our car to the Anaheim Plaza hotel so that could be an option for you if you still stay at BWPPI. They dont have any parking permits. I think because there is a restaurant on property.

When I stayed at the Park Vue last June, I did NOT have to move my car on check-out day. That was one of the reasons I chose that hotel in the first place.

If I remember correctly, at the Carousel Inn last fall, I was allowed to leave the car until 3:00PM in the afternoon on check-out day. It wasn't an issue for me because that was the time I was leaving anyway.

You should probably call the hotels directly and ask, as their policies may have changed since then.

I did not have to move my car at Park Vue, Desert Inn and Suites, Tropicana or HOJO and we leave it there till about 9pm when we drive home. Not sure about the others!! It too would be a pain for me to move it, so I stay elsewhere!

The candy cane will let you leave your car after check out.

I was also going to say- if you do decide to stay there and must park your car in the garage, I would probably go alone. I would send the rest of the family to DL, and go alone to take the car and get it parked. It will be much quicker that way.
