we will be staying at FW for the first time in MAY and we've had lots of questions. this board has already answered several of them....thank you!

another that i wanted to throw out there is related to parking...how many vehicles does disney allow on each campsite? my in-laws are bringing their camper down and will be pulling it w/their truck. we'll be flying in, renting a car at the airport, and joining them at FW later that day. will we both be able to keep our vehicles at the site - or will we be forced to leave our rental in the big lot out by the bus station?

Your camping equipment (RV, TT, whatever) plus one vehicle. Now the question is....does Disney enforce this? On the busier weekends - uh - NO!

We have seen more than 1 vehicle on a site but the current policy is only 1. We usually have 2 but just put one in the overflow lot. I am actually contemplating parking both in overflow since we have the golf cart. We can just use the cart to get out to the overflow lot if we want the truck or van. It definitely would give us more space at the site.

Yep, only one car allowed. Like the previous poster, I always park my truck out front after getting set up. Just makes the site look nicer!!

Carol -

Everytime I see your posts, I get sentimental about our T@B. There are times I wish we would have never have traded it in. Don't get me wrong, I love the 5th wheel with the bathroom, kitchen, etc but I loved our T@B when we had it!

You have done such a nice job of Disneyizing yours!

Carol does put the 'DIS' to the T@B! I have one too but hers really is themed and she does the best campsite setup I've seen in a long time.:thumbsup2

The new manager changed the parking on site policy in November. You now can have two vehicles and a RV on the site as long as it fits on the pad.

I had not hear that. Will check that out this Friday when we check in. The new premium sites definitely have the room for 2 vehicles with all of the concrete.

Oh who are we kiddn ! The sites may have more concrete , but unless the 2 cars parked on site WITH a RV are SUPER tiny, the cars will still be stick'n out in the road in everyones way driving the loop.

just MHOOBY.:thumbsup2

Yeah and when we were there in November we had neighbors that parked 3 big trucks across in front of their 5th wheel for an entire week - and 2 of those trucks were very definitely NOT all the way on the pavement. :confused3

Oh the other new November change is Disney no longer gives people sh*t for parking on 18 blades of grass anymore.

Ok, they seriously must have had something against the 300 loop then, because while the 3 trucks were parked willy nilly across the street from us for an entire week, and a couple of other sites had extra vehicles hanging halfway out into the road, we got a friendly note on our non-Disney cart from Fort "officials" chastising us for having 2 wheels on the pine needles in order to back close enough to plug the cart in. :headache:
