Any experts in Ft. Wilderness out there?

I am treating some friends and family to dinner at the Trails End restaurant, then following that with a Wishes cruise that we will pick up from the marina there.

None of us will be staying at Ft. Wilderness, but we will all have our own cars. If we choose to drive, is there somewhere to park that is convenient to the restaurant and marina?

TIA!

Nope, you'll have to park in the front lot near the entrance and use the internal FWC buses.

There is only one parking lot at FW, and it is out front away from the marina and restaruant. You can park in the lot for the HDDR and the Trail Rides, this is a separate entrance than the check in, just a a few yards from it. Once you have parked you will need to take an internal FW bus to the Settlement stop. The bus stop is near the trail rides and kennel, not the reception outpost(check in). Once you are at the stop, board any internal bus(they will be, Orange, Yellow or Purple Settlement). Orange has the shortest route to Settlement, Purple has the longest. Once you arrive at Settlement, TE is just a short walk down the path, the marina is just past TE. When your cruise is over, to get back to your car, go back to the Settlement bus stop and board any internal bus to OUTPOST, again, orange is the shortest route.

1) Do be sure to take the internal bus.
2) The walk is about 1-mile from the front gate to the marina.

OP here... Thanks for all the info! This may be complicated.

If we park at TTC and take the boat over to the marina, how far is the walk to Trails End from there? Would that be any easier?

To the PP who asked about a walk way, yes there is a paved path from the Outpost bus stop to the Settlement area, it is a nice walk(about 1mile) and takes you past the Meadows Tading post(gift shop) and the pool area, movie area behind the trading post.
ETA: I think when you reach the 4 way stop, you have to switch sides of the road to stay on the sidewalk for a little bit, but I know once you reach the Meadows area the sidewalk continues all the way to Settlement. Traffic is minimal in FW and the walk is very nice.

OP, if you park at TTC you will have to first get to MK (after riding the tram in from the parking lot) and then board a boat to FW. Make sure you board the right boat since FW and WL share a dock, but no longer share a boat. Once you arrive at FW the walk from the dock to TE is about the same as the walk from the bus stop to TE.

*** The FWC is now serviced by 1 motor cruiser and 1 motor launch (GREEN FLAG) running each day from 0830 until about 1 hour after the MK closes. These boats run only between the MK and the FWC.
