Parking at Downtown Disney....

We are going in November.

In past years, we would drive to DTD and go in at entrance 1 and park in the lot outside WOD in parking area C or D (depending on availability). Can we still do this? Where, exactly, can you still self park?

second question: if we choose to valet, do we have to pay again or does the valet we pay for at our resort cover valet parking at DTD?


From what I can gather, based on this, we can still park in parking area C and D but we have to use entrance 2. Unless C and D are now valet parking but I can't find anything designating it as such.

A big chunk of that parking in front of WoD is being used for valet, but some is still available. You may be able to get in there if it is early in the day. You will need to enter at the PI parking entrance across from Hess.

On weekends and evenings, you may be able to park at the Casting Center, which is directly across the street from WoD. It's a short walk.

Most of the self-parking that's still open at DTD itself is down by Cirque du Soleil.

I'm pretty sure the valet parking charge is separate from resort valet parking. It's now time-based, as the link you mentioned says.

When valet parking was first announced for DTD last year it said the charge would be separate from the daily resort valet fee.

I'll be there next Friday and have been following all threads about parking. Does anyone have a map to share that shows entrances 2 and 5? I've never paid attention to numbers on past trips and I haven't been able to find a map that illustrates the entrances.

I emailed Disney about paying for valet parking and the response I got said that once you paid for valet parking for the day, it is valid everywhere including DTD. So, if you already paid for valet parking at your resort, you don't have to pay again at DTD.

I put this together, but I don't know how helpful it will be.

In a nutshell, Entrance 2 is opposite the Hess Station, at the PI marquee. Entrance 5 is opposite the TL entrance, at the extreme west end of DTD.

Entrance 1, the former Marketplace entrance, is now an exit only.
