Which is the best lot to try first or second? Do you park your car then hop on a shuttle or walk? I've never parked before and am curious since we will have a stroller and such what we need to be prepared for. Thanks!

We usually head straight to the Mickey and Friends parking structure and hop on the tram. We do not have a stroller, though. We see lots of people with collapsed strollers on the trams all the time.

We always head straight for Mickey and Friends even in the summer when the signs say otherwise. During off season the others are sometimes close or they redirect you to the M&F structure. As for a stroller you'll have to take the elevator down from the parking and collapse your stroller to get on the tram. Depending how big your stroller is you might only to get on in the spot with the larger opening.

This summer we walked over from the CCI. But before that we always drove. The summer before, we drove and first thing in the morning we drove right in to the Pinnochio lot without going through the garage. It was very easy and we got close spots. By afternoon, that entrance was closed. Don't know if they have changed it or not, but I put detailed driving and parking directions in my Embassy Suites Hotel review (link in my sig).

When we parked in Pinocchio, we usually took the tram, but we walked a few times too. My sister, who has a stroller, prefers to walk over from there.

We much prefer the new Toy Story Parking lot on Harbor. Its faster to get in and out of, and there are always buses waiting to take you to and from. Not much of a wait at all - 10 minutes from Car to Park. I think it's one of the best kept parking secrets in town. (well, not anymore!)

I've stood for a long time at the end of the night trying to squeeze onto those trams.

Generally, I prefer M&F and walking instead of taking a tram. :) More lately we've been taking trams, but with the weather starting to cool down again it'll be back to walking. It is easier with a stroller, especially when we load it down, so I'm not having to lug bags and a folded stroller, etc. There is a pathway that takes about 10 minutes to walk from M&F to the security checkpoints.

We park in M&F (toy story lot sounds great but I haven't taken the time to figure out exactly where it is and change my routine). And like my sister said, when we have a stroller with us, we walk. We never take the tram with a stroller. It doesn't take very long to walk and it just seems like too much hassle to try to fold up a stroller or wait in a long line for one of the few seats where you can keep the stroller open.

Sometimes there's a bit of a line for the elevator going down in the parking garage so if we're on the 2nd or 3rd floor DH will carry the stroller down the stairs (not the escalator but the stairs). And obviously we take DS out of the stroller first. Or if you get there first thing in the morning you'll most likely park in the area outside the garage (pinochio, I believe) so that makes it easier with a stroller too.
