if you purchase a one day parking ticket can you leave and return?

Probably obvious but just in case- make sure you keep your ticket/receipt for re-entry.

Which parking lot is the best to park in? I may do a quick trip later this month and I think the cheaper hotel and rental car prices are going to beat the onsite and Good Neighbor. New experience to be away from the park. But just me so a different feel.

My go to is Toy Story Parking Lot. I am even more excited for TS now with the new upgrades coming.... more entrances, more parking spaces, and security check before loading on the bus.

Oh Thank you,
Is that the one on the Southeast of the parks.
Do you know when the security will be implemented before you board the bus?
I am thinking not having to be in the line by the Promonade where the Harbor hotels are loading would be nice.

Yes TS parking lot is Southeast of the parks.
The rumor I heard from one of the parking CM's back in Sept. was that the upgrades should be in place sometime in Oct.
Just this last year the made amazing improvements on the security check on the Harbor side, so even without security before you get on the bus TS parking lot would still be a go for me.

I think it's really a hard one to say which is best. Some people love Toy Story, some love Mickey & Friends/Pixar Pals.

I've never actually parked in Toy Story, because I used to be coming from the north, so the garage was very convenient. Now I live locally, and M&F/PP is closer to my house, so that's still where I park. I like that I can walk to/from the garage if the tram lines are too long. I like that I'm walking through DTD for most of the walk, with lots of interesting things to look at, so I don't pay attention to how much I've walked.

I've stayed on Katella twice now and used the TS lot both times. There is no entrance on Katella, you still have to go to Harbor, but it is very easy to park there and a quick ride to the park. The busses now leave from the Katella exit so don't travel on Harbor and it seems very fast. I really like this lot, but I haven't used any of the others.

For those who prefer TS, the pros are: no elevators or escalators to deal with, easier when coming to DLR from the south, less common for this lot to close, can be much easier to exit during mass exit times
For those who prefer M&F/PP: easier to use when coming from the north, restrooms (!), tram counts as the first "ride" for some guests (young and old), easy to choose bag check options at PP or DTD or DLH (the 3 are easy walking distance apart) when one station is backed up, can watch the fireworks before leaving from the PP escalator area (upper levels) and the top floor of M&F
Choose whichever parking option works best for you -- it's nice to have a choice.
