Parking at Contemporary/Polynesian with TiW / How Long ?

We have annual passes and Tables in Wonderland. During our upcoming trip, we have a few breakfasts planned at Contemporary (Chef Mickey's) and Poly (Kona).

After both breakfasts, we have other events we want to do. On Kona day, we wanted to hit MK for a few hours. On Chef Mickey day, we usually spend a few hours renting boats after, and were thinking about getting jet skis at Sammy Duvalls.

My question is this: If we take advantage of the free valet parking, is there a limit how long after our meal we have to check the car out ? I know with self park at Contemporary, which we used last trip, they said it was a 3 hour limit. Does that also apply with TiW ?

I don't want to be a scofflaw, but I also don't want to waste time moving and reparking our car if we don't have to.

I've always been told that Valet parking is for the day. As long as you're valet-ing, you can leave your car and go do whatever you want; you're not held down to the 3 hour rule for meals. I know we are going to do this when we go to the GR for 1900 PF on our trip; we will valet and then head to MK after eating, simply because I know we are not taking up a parking spot for resort guests.

TiW free valet parking has a 3 hour limit and you must show your dining receipt.

TiW only covers your Valet for 3 hours. It use to be DVC and TiW/DDE got you free valet, you just had to have your cards with you. But once Disney outsourced the Valet that went Poof. Now it's 3 hours, 3 hours and 2 minutes you are out the valet cost $25(?)

PS okay it may not be that tight, I've valeted for 3+ hours and got it for free with my TiW, but not too much more than the 3 hours. And I've always pointed out on my receipt the time it was paid normally with in the last 20-30 minutes.

Well, that makes me nervous. I know we've gone over 3 hours before when visiting the Boardwalk. Heck, our Il Mulino dinners are usually 3 hour affairs, as we usually do cocktails, dinner and then some karaoke at Kimonos before we call it a night. Hopefully they aren't that strict.

Never a problem with showing receipts, though I do admit I had having to keep track of all the paperwork.

Ah, good call on the TiW difference. I had always heard REGULAR valet was the full day and not the TiW - I guess I just don't know enough about TiW to comment. My mistake!
