I read that due to Christmas services, parking will be restricted at the Contemporary, the Poly and the Grand Floridian on Christmas morning. We are going to 10:15 Mass and then we have ressies at Chef Mickey's for 11:45. Since we have dining ressies will we be able to park at the Contemporary?

Since you would have a confirmed ADR you're name would be on a list when you arrive, so you should have no problems parking. Just remember on a day like Christmas Day they are going to be very strict when it comes to the 3 hour parking limit. I can say with 100% confirmation since I have stayed there the past few years on Christmas Day, WDW security is going to be all around the parking lot checking all the parked cars. So just a heads up so your not shocked once you arrive.

And, OP, if security isn't out and about, there may be other *guests* checking for expired parking permits.

Just an FYI kinda thing; personally, I would use valet parking and not worry about it.

Good points. OP, if you valet park, then you can stay there all day and even go to MK from there, if you want. Have a great trip!

Just an FYI, during super busy days (like Christmas) they will often even refuse guests in the valet lots that aren't staying at the resort. The idea of valeting is a good one, but I'd leave enough time in your plans to park at the TTC and take the monorail to the CR in case you are turned away. Have a great trip! :goodvibes

Sounds like you have two allowable reasons to park there though - you are going to the services - generally they have parking by the convention center for that and you are dining afterwards.

I would use WDW transportation that day. Bus to MK and walk to the convention center. Or drive to the TTC and then monorail around.

Perhaps check with your front desk too. We went to mass on Christmas Day 5 years ago and there were tons of WDW buses pulling up next to the convention center. We were staying at the GF so we just took the monorail but I would guess that those buses were running from other resorts.

Even though you have a dining reservation, there could be a very long line to enter through security. And there is just so much parking available including valet. Not nearly enough for everyone going to services. Once parking is filled, it would be a time consuming pain to drive back to the TTC and park and perhaps miss mass.

Have fun!

remember that most of the North side - where the self parking was mostly is gone.

won't be back until they are almost finished with that building.

so the parking is limited. I agree with ducklite - just in case you get told no you can't park here yet for your 11:45 reservation - especially if you are trying it before 10 am.

you just might have to drop off your family and go park in the TTC parking lot.

parking at any time is limited - but when the resort is expected to be full - well just don't count on it.

if their guests want to self park and there is none available - believe me the security will start tolling cars.

it has happened.
