Parking at Buffalo Airport?

Plan on using Southwest out of Buffalo Dec 24.

Need parking for 10 days. Will be driving from Toronto and arriving at 2-3 am.

Since we will be going in Dec and not know the weather - snow. Would like a covered parking.

Is there covered parking?

If not, which is the best parking area?

There is covered parking but it's really expensive. Go on the airport website...you can see all the parking options and the prices.

If its at all possible with your schedule, I would head down the night before. The hotel packages (parksleepfly.com) basically give you a room and parking for what you would pay for parking alone at the airport.

I would also recommend going the night before if at all possible. Due to the huge price attached to covered parking we choose to leave the car outside. Out of 20+ trips only once was there an ice storm which meant time scraping. If staying overnight we stay at Staybridge Suites, booking through Trinity Reservations. Have never been disappointed.

If parking near the airport, The Parking Spot (not covered though) is our location of choice.

PS - The last think I do before parking our car before departure is fill up the gas tank. It's nice not to need to do this before leaving, allows for a full tank when we arrive and are warming up the car and also less room for condensation to form.

If you can pack a small shovel! Two years ago in December we parked at the airport and had to dig the car out. It was cold too!

This! We returned to find our car buried in snow in February. Apparently Buffalo airport isn't reinvesting any of the parking fees into plowing their lot.
