Parking at Breakfast Hotel?

At one time it was possible to valet park at the Grand Floridian, have breakfast there at 1900 or the GF Cafe, then proceed to the MK for the day. It seems like valet parking is not available when I will be in WDW in late July. Will it be possible to park at GF or WL, have breakfast and then proceed to the park or will I have to move my car?

They've been cracking down on people parking at the resort for a meal and going to the parks afterward since last year. I want to say GF was one of the stricter ones. The time limit for non-guests parking is something like 3 or 4 hours, after that you'd have to move your car to TTC.

I would always valet park. The valet parking didn't seem to have a 2-3 hour rule. It's tough to do a resort hotel breakfast and then park visit using just WDW transportation unless you are already staying at a Seven Seas Lagoon hotel.

The question crossed my mind briefly on what do if having a resort breakfast on a park day, but with the late start times of Epcot and HS, it makes easier with a car to have breakfast at a resort and then drive to those parks before open. I’m doing Kona on an Epcot day.

I think if you are paying for valet, they waive the time limit as long as they have enough space for guests of the resort - at least that's how I understood it. if you were coming just as a day guest and parking for free, that's where there was a time limit imposed. OP had mentioned that valet wasn't available when they would be onsite, so they'd have to go to TTC if they were planning to do a park right after their meal.
