planning a trip in March and there is availability at both beach club and Boardwalk. But online it says parking is limited and we will be bringing a car. When we were there in January of this year the buses were not leaving from beach club because of renovation.

Anyone have info? Are the bus stops running and what's parking like there?

I wouldn't worry about the parking - they've had that notice for several months and I don't think there have been any differences from previous years. We were at BCV a couple of weeks ago and the bus stops were open there.

Just got back from BCC, didn't know it's the only DVC to NOT give parking passes. Alot of open spaces atleast last wek

Likely will be OK. At BWV, where room renovations have been going on all year, there has been an area of the parking lot occupied all year by trucks and disposal containers relating to the refurb. We had no issues with parking but some risk there could be at times in later afternoon and evening. BCV will have trucks and disposal equipment occupying some of the parking space next year and thus face the same risk during 2016

Not sure what the comment above is about parking passes, since those staying DVC get the same parking passes allowing entry into the resort parking area as those staying at the resort who are not DVC. The construction that will be going on in 2016 should have no impact on buses.

Are you talking about the parking pass we used to get at check in? In May we stayed at BLT and June at SSR and we were given the parking pass for our car, but in November and December we stayed at PVB and AKV-Kidani Village and neither of those resorts gave us a paper parking pass. Of course at our own resort we used the MB to enter the gate, but when visiting other resorts security would scan one of our MBs and ask for an ID. BTW the guard always wanted a reason for parking at a resort that we were not register guests, like dinner reservations. The guard also verified our dining reservation at that resort. I am not sure looking at the Christmas decorations would have gotten us in. We always rode Disney transportation to look at the holiday decor.

We had a car for our late Oct/Nov visit and received parking passes for both PVB and BLT.

Last week at BCV, no paper parking passes were issued. Plenty of parking available.
This week at OKW, and paper parking passes are being issued.

Stayed 4 nights at Bay Lake they gave us the parking pass, but BCC did not for last 4 nights.

Only issue is you have to show DVC card for parking in parks!

Are you saying you had no parking pass at all or you had the electronic (via the magic band) parking pass rather than the paper pass that goes on the car dash? The electronic pass has popped up at resorts and seems to still be in the testing stage because the paper passes are still being used at times even at resorts that went to electronic passes,

Also, did they ask to see DVC card to park in the parks? That would be strange because the DVC card does not give you any free parking in the parks. It is the fact that you are staying at a WDW resort that provides the free parking at the parks.

Band, no paper. The only issue then is having to show DVC card to get into places like Animal Kingdom for parking.

Except the DVC does not get free parking at the parks so that doesn't make sense? From what I had heard I thought they could scan MBs for park parking also. An AP gets free parking and I know there had been talk about scanning them but I don't know if that was implemented or not as we've gotten the paper pass when driving.

They have handheld readers at the parking plazas to check eligibility for free parking for AP Holders & Resort Guests.

Are you sure that DVC doesnt get free parking??????

I have NEVER had an issue in like 15 years. Although this year we were AP memebers.

Yes staying at a DVC resort gets u free parking, sorry for the miscommunication

It's stayimg at any Disney resort or being an AP holder that gets free park parking. Being a DVC member on its own does not get parking which is why showing your DVC card should not have meant anything.
