Parking and magic bands

*i did post on strategies board, but thought it'd be better suited here*

I know that parking is now associated with Magic Bands.

We're staying on property and a friend from Tampa is joining us for breakfast at our resort and then we are taking two separate cars to Epcot.

I know my car will be given free parking based on my room reservation. If my husband rides with our friend can his band also get free parking, or does the system recognize two cars and stop the second one from coming in??

It should be okay. I'm sure someone here will have more in depth info, but I really think it will work.

No reason for "the system" to stop a second car. Its entirely possible for the people in a resort room to have more than one car.

Yep, when we have visited DD, she needed her car to get to work and we sometimes have a rental because we aren't going to be on property 100% of the time. Some resorts still give paper parking passes. We have gotten them this year! They are sooooo much faster than MBs!!! They just look at them and wave you through!! Rather than having to stop, scan the MB and wait.... jmho
