Will be coming from Embassy Suites NORTH - Which is the best parking structure to use?? Easiest as well??

Thanks!!!

(sorry to ask so much about parking, this is our first time having to park)

:dance3:

My favorite is the Toy Story lots. In my experience I get in and out of the parks MUCH faster and easier when I park there. Mickey and Friends parking structure is fine, but because of the large amounts of people who park there, I always feel like I have to wait a lot longer and fight through people. Not to mention the tram goes sooooooo slow and when you are excited to get to DL first thing in the morning, you are not patient with how long it takes to get there ;)

I agree with Safina 100%. If you try both, you will be parking in TS lot the rest of the time. :)

Is there an actual address for the TS lot?? I need to google map this AND put it in my sat nav - we are directionally challenged people, it's a miracle we can get up in the morning and make it to the kitchen. :rotfl:

Thanks!!

Thanks!!

1900 S. Harbor Blvd.
Anaheim, CA 92802

it's directly across the street from the Anaheim Convention Center

THANK YOU!!! :thumbsup2

Also, are all these parking lots the same, can we pay when we arrive (like at a toll booth or something?) or should we buy the parking option online? And if we do buy online, do we just show a voucher or something to the CM?

Thanks guys!! I love this board! :lovestruc

Just to add to Carmatts adress. When you get close signs will direct you to Disneyland parking and help get you there. As long as you are on Katella the signs will direct you to the TS lot.

For payment, it just as simple to hand a CC to the parking attendant to swipe as it is for them to scan the prepayment voucher. So it just depends on if you want to pay before hand or while there.

Thanks!!

Does anyone know if you have to buy certain days for the parking online?? We are going on the sunday, tues, weds, thurs. But only to the Halloween Party on Monday (which is free parking I believe, although I do not know how that works).
Do I buy for certain days, or is it just single vouchers to use any days we like?

Thanks!!

They are just single use vouchers - no specific dates. As a PP mentioned though, it's just as easy for them to quickly scan your card or take your cash on the spot as it is to scan your pre-paid voucher, so don't feel it's necessary or a time-saver to buy your parking ahead of time.

Thanks!!

Did you buy your Halloween tickets already? It should explain how the parking works for that day on the email tickets.

I did buy the tix already and just printed them out today (and the email) - I must be missing something as I didn't see where it explains about parking... I just saw the driving directions (coming from North, South, etc) --- help?? :confused3

I am sitting next to a cast member who works in RTP ( parking for Disneyland resort)

For the Halloween party you park in the Mickey and Friends parking structure.

You don't need to buy parking vouchers, you pay at the booths when entering the parking area (there is a ton of booths with cast members working them).

If you park in the parkin structure and the trams are full there is a walking path that leads to the park (10 min)

With Toy story lot, you have to take a shuttle and if you decide to walk its about a 20 min walk on the sidewalk on a really busy street.

Hope that helps :D

Sorry about the username problem...

Could your CM friend tell us if it is OK if people staying at nearby hotels attempt to take the tram from the Disney lots? For example, if I were to stay at a hotel near the convention center and then attempt to get on the shuttle from the Toy Story lot without parking in the lot? I've heard of people doing this, but was wondering if it is acceptable, or if they just snuck in...

Nobody's going to stop you if you sneak in the TS lot for the bus.

And IMO the best parking is definitely the TS lot, NOT Mickey and Friends. And this comes from someone who was a CM at DTD and parked in the lot behind M&F, so I had to walk through M&F and take the tram or walk into DTD. The problem with the trams are that they are slow and they you usually have to wait for them, esp. if you have a stroller. Yes, you have to take the bus from the TS lot, but the buses are continuously loading--there's just a big line of buses right after the other and like any kind of omnimover ride, you just get on and then leave, and if you miss it you get right on the next one instead of waiting minutes for a tram or two (or three) to come around. Plus the TS buses drop you off closer to the gate.

Don't walk from either lot--save your energy for the parks and just wait a bit for the vehicle. The walk from M&F to the gate is longer than it looks.

Do we just show our Party tickets upon entering the lot?

Yes

Is it free from the 3pm entry or only from 6-11pm (actual even time)?
It's free for those attending the Halloween party and I'll get back to you regarding the time

Thanks!!! :cloud9:

Any guest visiting Disneyland, California Adventure and Downtown Disney is welcome to use the Trams and Toy Story Shuttles
