I’m taking my little one to Disneyland Tuesday for some Christmas shopping and maybe a few rides before we have to leave by 1:30 to make it home in time for school pickup for my big girl. We will arrive about 9. I’ll definitely buy items at DtD to get the three hours of parking, and I’ve considered having lunch at one of the TS restaurants... either Ballast Point or the bowling alley so we can get the 5 hour validation. I really hate spending $25 to park in the garage for less than 5 hours and at least if I spend $25 on lunch I get food!

Does this sound like the best plan? Any other ideas that are better?

If you are sure that you can accomplish what you need to do in under 5 hours, then go ahead and park in the Simba lot for DTD. Just don't forget to get that TS validation to cover your 5 hours!
