I´ve been reading this forums for weeks, now with a few days left before our trip It feels like my head is starting spinning and suddenly I don´t seem to remember a thin. Oh I´ve printed out maps and written down lot´s of advice but right now I cannot remember if the monorail goes between MK, Epcot, AK and MGM or what is the best way to go from MK to Epcot and so on.

Another question that´s beginning to pop up in my head is would you prefer AK over Epcot with two children aged 10 and 12 and not speaking or understanding english very good.

There is a monorail that runs between MK and Epcot. To get to any other parks from either MK or Epcot, you take the express monorail to the TTC (Ticket and Transportaion Center) and get on a bus. I'm not sure, but there may be buses at Epcot that you can take directly to AK and MGM. We drove everywhere on our October trip, so I'm not sure of the bus sytem. If you want to go between Epcot and MGM, you can also take a boat/water taxi. It stops at the various hotels, so it takes a little longer to get there. however, it is a nice, relaxing way to get over there.

I hope you have a nice trip, and I hope you enjoy the USA! Welcome!

If your children love animals, they will really love Animal Kingdom.
You don't have to understand English for that.
But when they don't (some older children really don't care for animals, I know) they would prefer Epcot.
It is all about preferences. I love AK, because I also love visiting zoos and this is really a very special one.

Buses connect Animal Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios and TTC. You can get a non stop ride between any of the parks except MK for which you also need to take the ferry or monorail.

In addition you can take the monorail from Epcot to TTC making a one stop ride to MK by changing monorails.

Here's one more way of putting it!!!:teeth:

There are two monorails- the EPCOT monorail and Magic Kingdom monorail, they meet at the Transportation Center.

To get from one place to another you just get on the monorail that's at the park and switch to the other at the Transportation Center, there are signs and people will be glad to help.

For any other park or place you have to take a bus. There are signs for those too and once you do it you will get the hang of it. Again, people will be glad to help.

I really don't think you need to know allot of English to enjoy either EPCOT or Animal Kingdom. There's allot more to do at EPCOT and the rides (I think) are more exciting. You might also enjoy walking around World Showcase and looking at the countries and shows there. We love the ride at Norway!!!

You sound very excited!!! Have a great time and remember, just ask anyone, they'll be glad to help if they can.

You asked what is the best way to get around... I feel park-hopping with a car is the easiest and most satisfying way to do it. Your parking pass is good for all parks and you can move between them freely. It may or may not be the fastest way to get around, but it certainly feels better. With all the excitement of the parks, nothing is worse than having to wait for busses and monorails which always feel like they take forever when you are all pumped up. At least with a car you feel in control, can sit comfortably, and can go anywhere you heart desires easily.
