I can't believe it! I get to come to the parkhoppers meet-- I am so excited!!
So add one to your count-- it's just me. not even the older kids this time-- so no one to say-- "Mom, are we leaving yet, I'm ready to go!"

Sue Ellen, are you in the Richmond area? ( I'm sure I should know this..) I'll be in Richmond Friday and Saturday and will either head up Sat and get a hotel room, or work something out with you...... just let me know..
anyone else going to be gettting a room up there Saturday night? If so maybe we can get together for dinner........
so whose doing what ? LOL

What a perfect way to get back into trading!!! I don't have to work that sunday. My store is closed, so no chance of being called in!! And this time I will make several copies of the directions and put them into the car in advance. (the last time I got half way there and didn't have them )

I can't wait to catch up with you all.

Connie and I are getting together and carpooling it to the meet - so if there is anyone else in the Baltimore area that would like to come along - we have room in the mini Van.

Just got home a little while ago from finishing my last framing projects before the meet. One week from now we will be having some fun. We have already started preparations and are looking forward to a great meet!!

looks like I wont be able to make it on a technicality. You see, DH's best friend got engaged a few weeks ago. friends of the bride to be (whom I have never met) are having a picnic on Sunday in honor of the couple. the strict instructions were "This is NOT an engagement party" and we were not expected to bring gifts. well then what the heck IS IT?? and Why should I attend rather than driving to MD to trade pins with people I want to hang out with rather than people I have never met?? unfortunately my argument LOST with DH. I suppose fair is fair since our home will be overrun with Disney Pin fanatics the following weekend at the Central PA pin meet. he did however mumble something about one very LONG round of golf he has planned for that afternoon to keep him out of the house... LOL!
oh well--maybe next time for sure!

I just read through the post, and discovered that I never "officially" RSVPd, even though I did tell you, Vince, in chat that I would be there.

So, here is my official "yes" reply, and can't wait to
SEE EVERYBODY!

This is sooooo the highlight of my 4th of July weekend---and you all will have to give me excellent instructions on how to make my reservations Monday morning for the September even since this will be my FIRST PIN EVENT!

Renee, I am so sorry you have to go to some silly "non-engagement" party instead of getting to come to Maryland! I hope I can come to your place the following weekend--am looking forward to seeing you again.

Vince and Suzi, do you need anyone to bring anything???

Gotta go now and get my pins organized--they are a mess!

The meet place is ready! All new framed pin sets have been hung! Display cases have been updated! Pins have been put away into binders and books! Tables are clean and awaiting traders! Fresh awesome chocolate chip cookies have been made! We can't wait to see everyone on Sunday! The official Start time for the meet is 2pm. While I can't guarantee exactly when, we often are ready to receive visitors just a little before the official start. If the door is open with a balloon attached then you are welcome to come in and join us. If you have any questions or concerns at all just e-mail me! We always have fun games and door prizes along with socializing and Pin Trading! We are just about ready and it should be a great meet!!
