I like your comment about being close enough just to run leftovers back to the fridge! Perfect food and money saver.

Quick question...we will be arriving in Anaheim about 9:30 am. We were planning on getting our rental cars and then heading to Lomg Beach and Huntington for the day. Would you advise getting to PV early and checking in, even though not expecting a room to be ready, but rather just to be able to ensure we get our rooms we booked?? Thanks!

That is a tough call. I would not want to back track your drive just to get a room. They already knew what room we were going to b in the next day even though it was still occupied so I think they r good about room requests. Plus if u were not happy with the room u could always move the next day. If the hotel were on the way from were u arrive to where u want to go then I would stop.
We are over at the Disneyland Hotel now and its easy to understand the difference in price. This is not just a place to sleep! We would come here for a holiday even if there was no Disneyland! That could just be the awesome banana cabana drink I had poolside talking, but Im just saying....Lol!!
One thing though, honestly the towells at Park Vue Inn were nicer than the ones here!! Time for these guys to splash out on some new towells. But everything else is amazing. We will end up back at the PVI again, we really liked it and we could not afford to stay here at the DL Hotel for a whole 2 weeks at $463. a night!!

Sorry we are on the road right now, and I won't be able to plug in my camera to upload photos until monday or tuesday. We were very happy with it and will be staying again for sure. We love the Disneyland Hotel, but we stay in the area for at least 10 days when we go, often 2 weeks, with the exception of December when we flew down with our grandaughters and only stayed a week, anyway.....we can only afford a few days at the DL hotel so splitting the stay is a good way to get lot's of time in the area and some luxury at the end! and we really like how close PVI is to the entrance to DL. They do not have an afternoon snack anymore, but there breakfast was really good, and they do have two big coolers of juice and lemonade, a basket of fruit, coffee, all day long, and from 3-6 pm fresh baked YUMMY cookies!!! we stopped by for those on most days!
