Does anyone know if the breakfast room at the PVI is on the ground floor, or upstairs?

And does anyone have any pictures of the rooms with the new carpeting installed?

The dining room is upstairs. They serve breakfast and a light supper. There are no elevators.

I was really hoping that the breakfast/dr was on the ground floor...my mom is not able to navigate stairs at all.

Are guests able to take food out of the DR, back down to their room?

I understand that they are pretty strict about not letting food leave the dining room, except for those who can't use the stairs. Besides breakfast they also serve a free light dinner.

There are a few pics of the new carpet on facebook, also lots of other pics on tripadvisor.
