We just went to the Park Vue Inn website to check our July reservation. When we booked (a couple months ago) they were not a Good Neighbor hotel. Now there is a Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel logo on their main page. It is near the bottom and can only be seen on our desktop/laptop, not my iPad.

Is this new?

Just curious.

I kind of hope they are so Tom will review it.

I don't think they are a new good neighbor hotel. I've never stayed there myself but I am pretty sure I have seen the Park Vue Inn listed on the Disney site as a good neighbor hotel for years.

Ok. I found this on another website
"Although it’s not listed as one of the 39 Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels, Park Vue Inn is a Good Neighbor Hotel–they just don’t participate in the vacation packages through Disneyland."

Ok, I guess that is why I can't book this through Disney or Getaway. Weird!

I think if you could book the Park Vue Inn through those websites, they would want a cut of the hotel rate. The Park Vue is able to control costs by limiting that. They have so many repeat customers that they probably do not even have to advertise anymore.

Disneyland has certain criteria for awarding the Good Neighbor Hotel title. Some of the nearby properties call themselves Good Neighbor Hotels, but they are not part of the Disney "family" of hotels.
