How is it? I am trying to stay closer to DL. Any reviews out there or could lead me in the direction of hotel reviews?

TIA:yay:

Did you check out Tripadvisor.com? That's what I use when I want to see what the reviews look like. Sorry, I haven't stayed there...

I'm staying there on Sunday. from what I heard from others here was its a nice basic, clean hotel with a nice staff and better then adverage breakfast. Its best feature is its right accross the cross walk. There is a coupon code on expedia that gives you $10 off a night right now MAR10 and dreams on park vue's site. Hope this helps!

We stayed there earlier this month. Check my TR for review and pictures.

The Park Vue just went through a renovation I do believe. Not sure if it was just one fraction of the place or the whole thing... I dunno. But perhaps you can ask to stay in a newer room if they have one available for you.

This is the hotel we stay at all the time , for me it just does the job. Its clean, staff is friendly, 5-3 minutes to the park depending how fast you walk IHOP and Dennys on either side . Go to Denny’s cheaper . I thought it had a little bit better of Varity of food at the continental breakfast. Had the best value for the location. If your looking for luxury this isn’t the place its just basic . I found this with most of the hotels on harbor in my opinion. I have heard some stories with cockroaches but I have never experienced anything like that. Hope this helps. use that code in the post above to get a better rate and have fun

Agreed! The other hotels on the strip are not flashy 5 star hotels at all. Every room is pretty much basic and there are pros and cons for each. If you want a 5 star, then save your pennies and head to the Grand Californian. Even the Disneyland hotel and Paradise Pier have mixed reviews on the rooms and service. But its not like your going to do a photo shoot or spend a great amount of time in your room. Basic is good. As long as its clean and you get good service, thats all that matters.

I know other hotels in the area were complaining about bed bugs and such. But I guess any hotel even the Grand can have its moments. Nothing in life is perfect.

Where do you enter the coupon code on the Park Vue site.
I am trying to decide on HOJO Kids suite and Park Vue Bunk Bed Suite.
Hojo is 139.40 a night. We're trying to spend less on the room so that we have more to spend at DL. Any thoughts?

Have you tried the desert inn? Their suites are nice and less expensive. As for coupon it goes in the corporate code area. Also sometimes calling the hotel directly gets you a better rate. This is especially true at HOJOs when you do in house reservations and ask for a disboards discount. Hope that helps!

Is the $139.40 for the HoJo suite before or after the Dis Board discount (15%) you simply have to ask for it and you get it! Call one of the In House Reservation ladies, they're great! 714-776-6120, ask for in house reservations.

I've entered the MAR10 code in the corporate area on the park vue website and I was told it wasn't valid. Am I missing something? Am i to put it on the expedia site and where?

Thanks for the advice. I do have reservies for Desert inn b/c I wanted it close by.

Also, thanks for the TR. I will check it out.

The HOJO 139.40 rate is with the 15% discount.
It seems high compared to the other hotels...but it sounds really roomy with the 2 bathrooms and two rooms (1 room has king and the other has bunk beds. Although I keep hearing that the walk HOJO is close- it seems that the park vuew is much closer. Park Vue is also almost $200.00 cheaper for the 8 nights that we will be there!

How do I decide:confused3

We love HoJo, but to be a bit closer and save a couple hundred bucks I'd go with Park Vue ~ I have not stayed there.

Adding ~

*How many are in your group? 2 bathrooms and 2 separate but connecting rooms might be worth the extra cross + the fun pirate theme!

MAR10 is for Expedia. you put it in on the page with your itinerary, there is a link that says "have a coupon?" DREAMS is for the park vue website :)
