Aloha!!

We're visiting DL for a short trip next month (4/4-6) and are booked at the Anaheim HoJo's in a Park View Room.

I've never stayed there before, but it gets such great reviews for the $$$, so I figured we'd give it a shot.

Does anyone have any suggestions for room requests? Or know which buildings these rooms are in?

Thanks!!

One more thing....ordered 3 day PHP from www.amusementpark.com for a great rate...saved a few bucks on top of the other savings.

We love HoJo's!! Their property is several 2 story buildings and one 7 story building. The park-view rooms are in the 7 story building, building 1 on the map. http://www.hojoanaheim.com/pdf/hotelmap.pdf

The HoJo is not a luxery hotel, but we love the atmosphere. They have lots of trees, flowers, very lush vegetation and twinkle lights on at night. The hotel is very well kept, extremely clean. The rooms are nice sized and I believe they have all now been renovated & updated (some used to have a more 70's decor).

The two pool areas are great, you can see the fireworks pretty well from the main pool area. The gift shop is stocked with anything you might need on your trip. They have a great selection of food items, souveniors, toiletries, etc..

The staff has always been extremely helpful and really wonderful to work with. As I said, we love HoJo's. You cannot get a better hotel for the $$ IMO.

I had this same question! We are also booked in a park view room. What can you see of the park? Are you in one of the upper floor rooms or has anyone gotten a ground floor room with a park view? We'd prefer an upper floor however we're not arriving until late at night and I'm afraid we'll get leftovers!

We stayed there three weeks ago in Building #1, room 1609 park view on the sixth floor. It was really close the the front desk, gift shop, ART, and easy to walk out to the parking lot. We could see the Space Mountain, monorail, and many others off in the distance. The room was nice and big, with extra room by the balcony to park a stroller without having to fold it up!! That's a big bonus for us. Also we could see the pool from our room. It was only noisy if we had the balcony door open, then we heard freeway, other than that it was very quiet, and we were pretty close to the elevator. You can't go wrong here! I just wish it was a little closer, after three days it just seems farther! Have fun!

You can also see the fireworks from some of these rooms. Some of them have trees bloking the views to a degree and some have strait on views of the fireworks which are fairly close.

We are booked here for one night before our stay at DLH. We have 2 park-view rooms. Does anyone know if they have connecting rooms in this building?

We had rooms on the third floor facing the park that were connecting.

I am debating if I should book two connecting rooms here (found a $49 entertainment rate) or book a suite at one of the Harbor Blvd hotels that are closer to the main gate. Our kids are 9, 5 and 2 and we might be traveling with friends with kids that are 5 and 3. We're going in Oct. so the parks will have shorter hours and might want to spend more time in the pool etc. We stayed at Desert Inn once and liked the location, but the hotel was very basic. I just can't decide :confused3
