Park too full to get in?

Now that I have my heart set on my CM PS and mono-railing over to MK for the parade and fireworks, I am worried that I might not be able to get in due to the parks being full.

We will be trying to get into MK around 6:30 or so on 5/20--that's a Fri night. Anyone think or ever had a problem around this time of year?

Also--we have a PS for SCI FI and then want to stay for Fantasmic. Since our ressie is in the park--they can't turn us away because its full, can they?

For both parks, we will not have been there earlier in the day.

Almost certainly not a problem in May. About the only time to be concerned would be 4th of July, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve. You should be more than fine!

A ressie in the park does not guarantee you entrance. When the park is full, it's full. It's the guest's responsibility to get to the park early enough so that they don't have to worry about missing their PS.

That said ... you're going in two months (May), and both of your ressies are in the evening. You should have no problem getting into either park. MGM seldom closes at capacity, and certainly won't in the evening, unless it's NYE or J4. MK closes during the summer on a fairly regular basis, but that's in the AM. It begins to clear out after the 3pm parade, and it opens up to guests again. With the exception of NYE and J4, you shouldn't have any problem at all getting in during the evening.
