Park to Park to AP ?

Sorry for another ticket upgrade question!

Does anyone know....
My package includes a 5 day 3 park to park ticket can I upgrade to a 2 park AP?
If we go to 3 parks before we upgrade can we still just do a 2 park AP?

Hi two summers ago I had the same 5 day 3 park to park ticket and we upgraded to an AP. We could have upgraded to the two park AP but we spent the extra money and went for a 3 park AP. We enjoyed VB a lot so knew we would go back. I did my AP on the last day of our week visit.

Once you enter VB, you can only upgrade to a 3 park AP.

I am pretty sure you can enter VB and then upgrade to seasonal 2 park ap. We got about $2 back per ap upgrade when I turned in my 3 park 5 day tickets for an ap. We did go to VB. Unless my ap does include vb, which is blacked out in August anyway. How do you tell if your ap includes vb?
