Park Tix needed for RFC in AK?

I'm like 98% sure that you can go to RFC and not have to have a park tix if you are only going to the resteraunt. But not completely sure. I have a Gift Certificate for RFC and I thought we'd use it on check in day when we didn't purchase a tix. And if so, where excatly do you enter. Is it the regular entrance or somewhere else. Last time we were in the AK so I don't really know.Thanks ya'll!

You don't need a ticket to go to the Rainforest - they have a regular entrance as well as a park entrance.

You'll see the entrance when you arrive at the park. If you don't, any employee will direct you to it. There is another RFC in Downtown Disney, too.

Not unless my DDP that I pulled off the WDW needs to be updated. It is actually owned by the Landry chains of resteraunts, the same people who own Joe's Crab Shacks. I've been clicking through the My Points website for a couple of years and have enough for 3 $25 gift certificates that I plan on using. We're doing our 1st night at POP for my 7yo DD, swimming, looking around other resorts, and RFC that day and we move over to ASLMO for 6 nites and 7 days using the Dining Plan. I get a discount on rooms as an airline employee so we decided to use the Gift Cert and do 1 night at a diffrent resort on our arrival day.
We went in August 2002 and really enjoyed it. The portions of everything were HUGE! We easily split 1 appitizer and 2 entrees between DH, DD and myself. I thought the food was pretty good, the atmosphere great (but dark) and if you go try the volcano!
