Hey All!

Since we will be new DVC members, we will not have the grandfathered benefit of annual pass holding. At this point, that is okay since we are starting out with the idea to go (edited) every other year by banking points anyway. I know we will get adonitits, but hopefully, we can wait until after the 1st trip.

What's a good method for getting tickets discounted for folks like us just coming into DVC?

I just checked and a 7-day park pass w/ hopper for 2 adults + 1 child during Dream season will run us $2,259.79.

Thanks!

D :)

If you plan to go Bi-annually meaning twice a year an AP can be worth it even if you are not eligible for the DVC gold pass.

Unless you mean you plan to go every other year Biennial then you are right that an AP won’t make sense.

you can look at UTC for tickets and savings, that’s what I do.

awesome, thank you! They quoted me 1,644.79, which is $615 less. Never bought tickets outside of WDW directly since it was always bundled with the resort and dining, so I appreciate the tip! :)

You're right, bi-annually is not what I meant. sorry, the brain is mush. LOL! Every other year* :)

Touring Plans has a ticket price comparison chart - there are other reliable sources for discount tickets, and prices change all the time. Also, if you subscribe to the Mouse Savers monthly newsletter they include a link for additional discounts at Undercover Tourist.
