I've been lurking around the DIS Boards for years and have always found good information on just about any questions I have about Disney World or the Dark Side, so thank you all for the insight!

My wife and I were discussing the virtues of some of the various ticket sites and Universals own site. We are going at the end of June for three days and the 2+1 park-to-park ticket offer (two day ticket with one day free with restrictions) off the Universal site looked as though it would fit our needs nicely. But then we noticed in the fine print that the first use of the three day ticket must occur before June 17th (we aren't arriving until the 26th).

Now that would have been the end of the 2+1 ticket issue except undercover tourist has 2+1 ticket that doesn't have to have a first use until June 27th. Since UT is an authorized reseller, this has to be a typo right?! If not, I think I found my tickets.

I plan on calling tomorrow after the holiday but thought I'd give the knowledgeable folks around here a chance to chime in first.

The ticket is a bit misleading. They come included with 3 days of park use within 14 days of first use and 14 days of club fees for Citywalk. Now, because of this 14 day thing, they have stipulated that the first day must be no later than June 17th.

However, if you are only going to use your 3 days and nothing else, we have been told that your first day doesn't have to be before June 17th. You just must be aware that your ticket will expire on June 30th no matter how much of it you have used.

I'm not sure why they just didn't state it that way in the fine print. LAST DAY TO USE THIS TICKET IS JUNE 30TH. ADMISSION WILL NOT BE GRANTED WITH THIS TICKET AFTER JUNE 30TH.

If you want to call and make sure... call Guest Services at 407-224-4233 and choose option 3

Thanks for the speedy reply Damo! We will be first using the tickets on the 26th with the last day of use being the 28th, so the before the 30th restriction shouldn't be an issue. The wording is definitely a little sketchy. I guess I'll be calling for confirmation and hope I get someone who actually knows. I'd hate to be stuck outside the gate with two teens girls and a wife all of whom would be wishing me dead for trying to get a deal and failing to adhere to the confusing fine print. Maybe I should call twice to make sure the answers jive! :)

I can verify this, I called and was advised if this ticket was purchased it could be used at anytime up to and including June 30th.

We will be there at the same time, but will have 2 days at the parks (26th and 27th) and then 14 nights of cruises before the last potential park day - so the Universal tickets wouldn't work for us! Instead, we purchased $134 3-day Park-to-Park tickets from Costco - since we won't be using any of the extras, it seemed like the best option for us. These tickets have to be used by sometime in December of this year, so we should be good for June/July dates! :cool1:

Thanks for all the responses! I finally called also and was told that the reason for the confusing language was that they are selling them as a 14-day non-consecutive ticket. If they just told you that the first use of the ticket needed to be used by the 27th, it would not look flexible in that they have to be used or lost by the 30th( still could have been worded better!). So we are good to go with these!

Where can you get the costco ticket? Would any florida stores near orlando have them or only upper east coast?
