I hope this is the right board to post this thread.

We have a package booked with 5-day base tickets. We may upgrade addtional days once we arrive. I spoke with 2 CM's and one indicated that there would not be a fee for the upgrade/change and the other felt there may be a $50 fee. I really thought there would be a consistency among the CM's at CRO.

Has anyone done this and was there a fee?

TIA

I did this last month with no problem. I had purchased a 4 day base ticket with park hopper option. I had thought I have previously unused days on an old park hopper pass, but realized when I got there that I didn't have as many days as I thought. I was able to go to customer relations at any of the parks an upgrade my 4 day to 5 day for an additional $8.50. I thought that was a bargain!! Good luck.

Does this work with old hopper tickets, or just newly purchased ones?? I know,-- dumb question, but we never had any "leftover days" and now we have 3 hopper tickets with one day each.... just wondering.

tubachick, it depends on what the old tickets are and when you are doing the upgrade. There's a great explanation of the whole procedure on Deb's site.

If you're purchasing passes as part of a package, and change the tickets fewer than 21 days before you leave, Walt Disney Travel Company may charge you a $50 change fee. But there is no fee at the parks as others have said. Just thought I'd throw out where the $50 figure probably came from.
