I've just received 14 day Ultimate tickets :flower: and read the terms and conditions on the back. It says we need I.D. - does that mean we have to bring our passports everywhere? :confused3
I don't know if I can wait another six weeks + - I want to go now! :moped:
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
Can anyone tell me?
LOL Rosie

That or a picture drivers license.

Hi Goofy Dad
Thanks for the response. I'll have to rethink what I'll be taking to the parks then. I had hoped not to have to take a bag/purse. I wouldn't be happy to leave passports in a locker. :guilty:
Doesn't it cause long hold ups if CM's have to check I.D for hoards of guests? :confused3
Every question answered just generates a million more in my Holiday obsessed brain!
Back soon...

Not really. You just need to have the ID handy. They may not ask for it unless your Biometrics dont work right. But its better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

i have the old park hopper tickets is there any difference with them do i still need id? (didnt last year.) also what do you mean by biometrics !!!! do themy photograph you now also?

Im not sure about the old tickets but I beleive I read somewhere on here that they only need ID for the new MYW.

The Biometrics only take impressions (not prints) of your fingers. No photo's.

We have the old style hopper plus passes and photo id isn't required.
I still carried my passport and driving license around but, in 3 weeks, was only asked to show it once when paying with a traveller's cheque somewhere obscure :sunny:
No sticking your fingers in the scanner with the old passes either.
:grouphug:

Hi - we've not long come back but we heard you had to have your ID at all times so we did take our passports everyday with us....the ONLY time we were asked for photo ID was to get into Discovery Cove.

We had the old Park Hopper Tickets.......

I'd still take some photo ID though....just in case!

I have never been asked to show ID although haven't been for 5 years. Will a photocopy of the passport be ok since I really don't want to carry the real thing around. Far too risky and bulky as well.

I think they prefer the original. I copied the passports and locked the copies in the safe but took the originals out.
