park ticket question

i have the ultimate tickets for all our party can you tell me if when you enter each disney park do you use this ticket in the fastpass machine or do you get another ticket for that use at the gate.if its the ultimate ticket do they get well worn after 2 weeks,i have 5 kids who i am sure will fold and get the tickets wet at some point especially my 15 year old

The ticket is called the key to the world and basically does everything from opening your hotel room, park entry, dining plan and charging to your room (you can block the charging on kids keys!) they are like a credit card so are solid so can not be bent(could get cracked I suppose) When entering the parks you use these tickets, no paper tickets required, you also use these to get FP tickets! I am always in charge of all cards and then I can get all FP's at the same time, but obviously your 15yr old may want to do some stuff on there own, just make sure they doesn't lose it!

Sorry not sure, I've only stayed on site (well as an adult where I actually have to be responsible for tickets and stuff ) So hopefully someone else can answer!

If you have the paper tickets then last year you had to use the re-entry gate when you went to the next park, not sure if it is the same now.

it wasnt a problem for us last week, we went in the "normal" way everytime.....we had the ultimate ticket but was using the paper ticket when going between parks rather than the plastic room key ones.

They are easy to damage can cause you endless problems when trying to get the ticket machines to read your cards lol
We always, let DH look after them and I bought a little solid plastic envelope with a poppa fastener from the our Local postoffice the cost about 75p - stops them from bending and getting wet.

thanks yeah they sound like ours strong card /paper,i better look after most of ours or we will be coming home after 2 days

If you go up to any wdw booth they will give you a little envelope/folder type thingy to put your tickets in
