Park Ticket Question--help

Hello everyone,
My aunt and uncle who live in Orlando, FL want to buy for me two park tickets as my birthday present for a trip I have coming up in October 2007. When she asked my what type of ticket I would like I told her I could use an 8 day ticket with hopper and water park option. If my aunt and uncle purchase the tickets and send them to me as a gift in the mail, am I able to use the tickets they purchase? I'm not sure how that will work since they will buy them in Florida and then give them to me as my present.

I don't want any Disney police coming to get me! (grin)

as long as they don't use the Florida resident discount - you will be fine.

Thanks for the post! That is what I am trying to figure out.

I told my aunt that she can't buy me a ticket at FL pricing and she disagrees with me. I might have to call Disney to check but I want to ask Disney if my aunt purchases a ticket and mails them to me as a present, what exactly will happen when I go to use the tickets the first time at the gate? I don't recall any cast members flagging people for ID for non-annual passes. Once I use my fingerprint to make the ticket mine during first use, my aunt's point is how will the cast member at the gate know how much was paid for it. I see her point but that is what prompted me to ask you guys for help. I don't want to do anything incorrectly and waste her money.

The ticket will be flagged in the WDW ticket system as being purchased with the Florida resident discount. In order to use a ticket purchased with a Florida resident discount one must possess Florida resident identification.

Trust me, Disney can tell you everything about the ticket you purchase and use.

Yes, Ive always been asked for ID the first time I use a ticket... If you arent using a FL resident ticket, they probably dont ask for ID but when you buy FL resident tickets they def. do ask for ID for anyone old enough to have an ID lol
