Does anybody know where the cheapest 14 day ultimate Tickets can be bought? cant belive the price rise since last July. We are planning on going this November! Would an annual pass be better ?

Hi, I just bought mine from Virgin holidays, I found them £50 cheaper then anywhere else!!!!! We're out there in Nov too! We go on 23rd Oct and return 13th Nov!!! CANT WAIT!!!!!! hth xx

To be fair if you work it out the base price of the ticket has not risen(if it has its only a tiny amount) its the exchange rate thats working against us just now, Disney are not getting anymore now than they were last year.

Virgin have the 14 day ultimate at £215 less upto 10% with FVC disc or 5% with FC.
If you can get the 10% off thats £193.50 plus if you buy thru Quidco in theory should get another 4% cashback end cost is £185.76 or £53.24 cheaper than ATD.

You will also find the AP has gone up considerably due to the exchange rate. Last year we paid about £210 to renew basic AP, this year over £300 again Disney not charging anymore just poor exchange rate. We have decided not to renew.

Wayne, how does the Quidco work. I have just registered on the website but not clear unless I am just missing it.
We are flying with Virgin this year so will have to wait another year before I get the FVC.

We are also looking at Seaword, IOA and Universal Studio's but just a day at each. What would you do for tickets for these. I keep looking and then changing my mind.

The rest of the time will be using the ultimate ticket, which seems as Virgin are the cheapest. We have 7 adults travelling 1 child (6) and 1 infant.

Cheers

Neil

Hi Neil
See this thread for Seaworld tickets. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2084897

Universal, Just looked at Virgin again, they still have unlimited 14 day ticket for £70. If you can get any discount and cashback its probably cheaper than 2 day ticket anywhere else.

FVC is by invitation only now, so doubt you will get into that http://www.virginholidays.co.uk/fvc/

FC is available with Virgin atlantic, You can join this now before you fly with them.

Unless anyone corrects my info this will give you 5% off Virgin holiday site. http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/g...lidaysgroup.jsp?bfSubmit1.x=24&bfSubmit1.y=13

Quidco, you just register then click thru their site for anything you buy online, it logs the transaction and pays you a %, I prefer Rpoints which is very similar but more complex to use, Quidco is much easier for new users.

Edited just to say check out cost of flex tickets, I have not compared they could be as cheap as you buying seperate.

In order to get any of the discounts with VH you need to spend at least £2000 as I've just found out - ordered only tickets but no discount applied when I received the paperwork, rang them up and told no chance!:sad1: Back to the drawing board on tickets as I still have time to cancel & will probably just get them from undercover tourist

1st I have heard of this, just read T&C's can't see anything about it. I would think OP order will be over £2,000 if all tickets bought fom Virgin so hopefully no problems getting discount.

Anyone else heard £2,000 minimum?

I have mine from attraction tickets direct. On the site the 14 day ultimate is £239 adult BUT they price match so they will go as low as Virgin and you get a free boggy breek airboat ride with a Disney ticket.

Ooh and I just found out you can add special offers onto your existing account. I just rang on the off chance they would let me have the new 'free autograph book with every child ticket' even though I booked in August and they said that's fine, so we've got them lol

I might ring back to see if I can get the airboat ride too!

They won't price match Virgin or any e-tickets/vouchers only hard tickets, its in T&C's in link above. Many have posted they won't do it, have you managed to get them to price match Virgin?
Also others have posted they won't pricematch and give free airboat ride, only if you pay full website price. Again its in T&C's bottom of this page http://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/attraction-ticket-prices/airboat-ride-offer.html

I was told £1000 and didn't get a discount. I tried to add them to my existing booking but they wouldn't as that had been booked with Tesco vouchers so although paying over £2k they wouldn't add a further discount. My booking is weird though!!!

I did actually lol. I read out the brochure prices from Virgin, Cosmos and another one I can't remember now and I managed to get my 14 day ultimate tickets down to £185 for me, £156 for children, as well as getting my other tickets very cheaply.

Maybe I got an inexperienced call person? No idea lol. :S

It's worth giving a ring, they might just do it for you. :)

I fished out some paerwoek I received recently with my replacement card & it does say £1500 minimum spend. I did try it on, saying I never knew.... Have decided the tix are still good value, altho' could have got a non hopper ticket for less from US site. Now just need to see whether I get my cash back!!!!!

So is there a minimum spend to get the 5% FC discount? This is the first year that we're not having annual passes, the $$ got a lot to answer for :rotfl: We're probably going for the 14 day ticket too.

Thanks all, I have booked my flight through VA and VH wont give me any discount on the tickets, so will have to keep looking.

We got an email from Charter Travel just before leaving for our recent trip but we had already decided to buy AP's. They were offering a 14 Day Ultimate for between £185 and £205 - dependant on your travel dates.

We use Online Florida for our tickets but have noticed a rise in their prices but we are putting it down to the bad exchange rate at the moment, hopefully it will get better by the time we return in November.

am just on the phone with Virgin Holidays at the moment. The lady I am speaking to says you do NOT get 5% discount if you are booking tickets only - my flights are with VA but not booked via Virgin Holidays.

I spoke to Sarah at Flying Club last week who told me that you do get 5% discount on ticket only bookings - just told the women on the phone that and she has put me on hold.....will let you know how I get on!

Update - they are going to listen to my phone call then call me back to advise!!!!

Typical of Virgin, one will give the discount the next won't. They have no idea what the rules are. Good luck.
