Hello all

As part of my birthday celebrations this year we are going for a week long trip to France. Driving this time so we can bring back some wine :P Anyway where we are staying isnt to far from Disney so we're thinking we will pop up for a day or two. So I went onto the official site and began looking at the prices because previously we've always stayed on site or had an annual pass. :scared1: imagine my surprise when its listed at 104 pounds for a 2 day 2 park adult ticket.

So I was wondering am I missing a trick here? Is there a cheaper place to get tickets? or would it maybe be cheaper to get the cheapest annual pass?

Also we were blessed with the birth of our first child just before xmas. He'll be about 6 months old when we go. We know he wont be able to ride much but I was wondering if there are any rules on what he could ride? I had read provided there was no age limit and no height limit on a ride he would be allowed to ride it.

Now a lot of it will depend on his temperament at the time but at the moment hes loving anything bright & colourful that plays music. So I figured he'd enjoy the rides a lot. There's the obvious children's rides I was thinking of but I was also pondering the other gentler rides that visually he'd enjoy such as pirates and haunted house. I was wondering if anyone knew roughly what rides he would/wouldn't be allowed on at that age?

thanks

Rhys

Hello :)

Concerning the tickets it depends on when you are going. The offers atm go up to the 30th of April on tickets.

You could get 1 day/2 park tickets for 34€ so 68€ pp for the 2 days.

Nobody afaik pays the full rack rate price for tickets even in August so you'll find something far cheaper ;)

Hello

We went last September with DD who was 6 months old! We had such a great time we went on its a small world, Peter pan, Pinocchio, pirates of the Caribbean and the story book boat ride. We were told that we couldn't go on buzz or dumbo till she was 1.

Character interaction was amazing! We did cafe Mickey and DD got to cuddle Mickey he was so taken with her he picked her up blew her kisses! Stitch got on the floor with her and played together it was amazing!

I did do a trip report called can't wait to be walk doing main street there may be some tips and advice in there for you!

I asked this question not long ago. I was surpised by how much people did with a baby. :)

It depends on the CM on our first visit dd was 7 months we took her on Buzz daily as didnt know she had to be one and nobody told us otherwise, on our last day we qued 40 mins to be told she couldn't go on

They cant go on teacups either until they are one. We took DD on it when she was one, every day then one day a really rude CM got dh and dd's off the ride and asked how old she was. I walked over and said she is 1, was one a few days ago and he called me a liar basically, he said you tell me she is one but I dont think she is. I got a bit offended by him calling me a liar and stated I know when I gave birth to her so he shrugged and walked off eventually. It was also embarassing as we held up the ride.

sorry for the slow response all been a busy few weeks. And thank you so much for all the info. We go the last week in June. So it sounds like I need to wait for the next lot of ticket offers after April. where are you seeing those offers by the way because I couldnt spot them

And I'll go read that trip report now. Our little son will love all the fun stuff there :)

I know! It was embarassing and put me in a bad mood all morning than just as I calmed down we saw him at Small World operating it as I was waiting with DD asleep in pram doing baby swap . The previous CM said it was ok but of course he must of remembered me from earlier in the day so got funny then too insisting the area was for disabled guests only.

wonder if thats the same CM I've heard terrible things about from pin traders.

That is terrible!
