I know annually that the cost of the tickets increase a bit...my question is...has that hike already happened this year?

We are going in october and I want to know if putting off purchasing park tickets may be a bad idea. I see that the ones you can buy now are good through the end of the year, so that leads me to believe it has already taken place.

...Would it be safer just to buy them now?

Thanks!

Prices just increased recently. I know that last year ticket prices increased in Spring and the annual passes increased in the Fall.

ok thank you! I guess I wont worry about it too much...unless the cost of shanghai messes things up, and adds in another increase. lol :P

do you know how much the increase was recently? I hadn't looked up prices since I went in the end of 2012. For that trip, i had waited too long to buy the tickets and ended up paying a bit extra. I was upset with myself and didn't want that to happen again.

I am doing the gift card purchases using my target red card to save 5%. people think I'm nuts when I tell them that. lol

Prices went up at the end of Feb. Our 5 day hoppers went up $20 per person, from $315 to $335 each.

Disney went to demand pricing for 1 day tickets, it will vary now based on popular days. Don't count out the possibility that they could adjust the demand levels or pass it on the multidays when the inevitable AP price increase happens.

I'm buying tickets for our upcoming trip tonight. I'm curious to see the process for buying one day tickets now, because this is a short trip and that's what I'll be buying.

welllllll I guess that kinda cancels out my savings from the target card lol! We are buying 5 day park hoppers as well, and the target discount brings them down almost to the old price. Still better than paying today's full price I suppose!...or the price of whatever is to come once Star Wars lands opens...

I will probably purchase the tickets this weekend to make sure I don't incur anymore hikes! Plus then when july rolls around and its time to purchase MHP tickets as well, they wont feel like such a hit to the wallet.

I bought target gift cards off cardpool to save 6%, then used those to buy target gift cards with the %5 red discount (yes, online you can use a gift card and your red card..you don't pay on your red card but you get the discount, its weird). So, I was waiting for my Disney cards to come in the mail when the price increased. I was SOOOOO mad. I missed it by a day.
