Park Ticket Expiration

We're are planning a trip for fall of 2014. We're getting park hopper tickets. I know they expire 14 days from first use. My question is if I buy my tickets now, is there an expiration date if they aren't use w/in 6 months, a year, etc?

No, there isn't an expiration from the purchase date. Many people purchase tickets for future trips when they hear of a price increase.

No expiration on new, never used tickets. Until you use them for the first time, they can be saved forever. We still have a 2 day ticket from 2003 that was never used. It always seems that we have tickets and even though we always bring it, never seem to activate it.
