Park Ticket/Admission Help

My girlfriend and I are leaving for our Disney trip on Friday (can't wait!). We check in at the Dolphin Friday and are staying until Wednesday. Originally, we were going to do 1 universal day on Saturday and 3 Disney park days Sunday-Tuesday (Epcot, MK, AK) and then head home Wednesday. Once the trip got a little closer, we realized we would be getting into WDW Friday around 12 or 1 and decided to purchase a park ticket and head to Hollywood Studios when we arrive.

Our problem is that we don't check into the Dolphin until 3 o clock so we were planning on heading straight to wh park and checking in when we were done. But, we will not have our Magic Bands yet as our plan was to purchase them at the Dolphin. My question is what is the best way for us to get access to our park tickets and and fast passes this day? Is there a way to print our tickets off? And if so how would we use our FP's?

Yes, this. If you want to stop at the Dolphin first and check in, you can. Your room may not be ready, but you can still check in at the front desk. You can then purchase your MB's if you want them, but they aren't necessary. How did you purchase your tickets? Do you have a confirmation e-mail or will call numbers? You can simply go to the ticket window at DHS and have them issue plastic ticket cards which you can use to enter the parks and access your FP+. Also, what type of WDW tickets did you purchase? Three day tickets? You mention purchasing "a park ticket" to go to DHS. If you already have tickets for the other days you plan on going to WDW, you can simply upgrade them to include this extra day at DHS. You don't have to purchase a separate one day ticket.

Plus, it is a LOT cheaper to add a day than buy a separate one day ticket.

I would head to Dolphin first, try to check in. I wouldn't count on it though .. I've never been able to check in early there but you never know. Park your car, store your luggage, then walk to the park. Just buy a magic band at the park. You won't need it right away ... you have a ticket. Then upgrade your ticket at the park.

You can check in and receive your magic bands without getting a room assignment.

True, but they're staying at the Dolphin where they will have no use for a magic band so that's why I said just wait and buy one in the park. Or just skip it altogether ... you won't really need it unless you just want one for convenience.
