I'm about to purchase my 4-day tickets through Disney (have plenty of Disney Visa rewards points to cover the whole cost). I know that i can just buy the base tickets and add the hopper & WPF&M options on later when i get there if I want. if buy the base tickets now, then decide to add on an option, am i able to do it through MDE before i get there? or do i HAVE to wait until i'm at the parks?

planning on getting the WPF&M option, but i'm so nervous about the weather being bad and paying for it and not using it! :scared: i could use my points for food instead. DH &I going first week in June and I am planning on doing both water parks, mini golf and Disney Quest. any tips about the weather that time of year would be helpful!!

as a side note, i keep getting an error message on MDE when i go to add my tickets to my cart :confused3

If you are buying tickets separately from a Disney resort stay, you can't add to them until you do so in person at WDW. However, tickets sold with a resort stay package can be changed prior to arrival.

If you get the PH option for $60, then adding the WPF&M option would only cost $26 (not including tax). If buying only the WPF&M option, that would be $60 (just like adding PH only).

For the upgrade of a MYW + PH ticket to a MYW + PH&WPF&M combo ticket, the cost of $26 is less than half the price of a separate one-day adult Water Park ticket. And you would also be entitled to entries to Mini Golf, DisneyQuest, and nine-hole golf. If you have a 4-day park ticket, you would get 4 separate WPF&M entries of your choice. So there's lots to consider...

staying offsite for sure. also, definitely not getting the PH option. only option i'd get would be the WPF&M. i suppose even if we just did one water park and minigolf, that'd still cost more if purchased separately.

i'm just nervous about the weather in early June. anyone know if the afternoon storms happen that time of year??

The summer rain comes and goes quickly. Maybe an hour, more or less. Of course, there could be a completely rainy day or two if there's a big storm in the Gulf or coming off the ocean, but that's outside the norm. Usually if it rains, you can keep moving thru your day's schedule. Not necessary to leave the parks or linger inside (unless pouring). It's just part of being in Central Florida. Buy some cheap throw-away ponchos at Wal-mart Sporting Goods Dept. I have a cheap, light, Wal-mart hooded rain jacket for the parks that I stuff in a backpack. Shoes that are designed for outdoor wet situations are better than athletic wear that can soak up water and stay wet. Water parks, some outside rides, monorail and boat transportation usually only stop when there's lightning within a certain radius around WDW.

One-day Water Park ticket is $56.45 with tax. Mini Golf (before 4pm on the WPF&M ticket) costs $14.91 with tax.
