I am the designated FP grabber and I was wondering if anyone can share some good short cuts through the parks, especially when moving from land to land in MK.
Thanks, maybe my job as FP grabber want be soooo bad!

The only great shortcut I know of is widely publicized in the Unofficial Guide. To get to Splash or BTMRR, cut through Adventureland. Look to the right: there's a passageway (leading to the public restrooms) that cuts through the western storefronts to the main walkway that parallels the Rivers of America.
You can't miss it; everyone else will be going that way, too!

You most likely will get a lot of dirty stares and maybe even comments if you try to catch up with your group. I would just have your party wait at the beginning of the line while you get the fast passes and then when you get there get in line together.
Now see, I think that's silly...the dirty stares...I've never thought anything of it if one or even two people join a group in line ahead of me. I could see if one person is in line and six come and join him, but if a mom and her 2 kids are in line and Dad comes to join them...so what? Maybe he had to run to the bathroom or forgot his camera in the stroller or something, it isn't like that one person is going to make my wait any longer.
I also agree that your party should just wait at the entrance. It is against the park rules (and any other theme/amusement park I have been to) to "cut" in line. Technically, you can be asked to leave the park - although I have yet to see this happen at WDW.
What is the big hurry anyway that you can't wait a few minutes for your entire group to enter the line together?
It is the principle of the thing - some people think the rules are for others and they, somehow, are exempt.
I think if it is just your husband going to get a FP nobody with think much of it. You may get a few stares or comments but nothing more and you CAN'T get kicked out of the line for doing so.
Good shortcuts I know of is actually going over the near Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe to get to Haunted Mansion pretty quick and to get to Splash and Thunder go the way closest to the water near Tom Sawyer. Most people go on the main road but there is a little pathway nearby (just watch out for dive bombing seagull ) Those are really the only ones I know of. I think it's just better to run there an back and there you go! XD
The passage through the western shops to Aladdin's magic carpets.
The walkway along river of America (tom sawyer's island)
The walkway behind the castle between Fantasy land and tomorrowland rose garden.
The walkway from Mickey's toontown to tomorrowland
Walk through Cosmic rays restaurant to get from tomorrowland to main street faster.
All the stores on main street connect together, so you can go through them if main street is packed with people waiting for the parade.
Last, this won't help with FPs, but we have taken the train from the main street station to frontierland at the the park opening, which got there just a minute or two behind the runners.
Actually, you CAN be booted from the park for cutting in line. The worst I've seen, however, is that the one cutting in line will be asked to exit the line and re-enter.
Again, what's the hurry that you can't wait for the rest of your party? I really don't see the point.
