Here are the restaurants we visited last week and my reviews. Diners were two adults and DD11 and DD12.
MK:
Pecos Bill--Our first time to eat here. Kids just got fries and they were happy. I had a grilled chicken wrap that was huge but forgettable. DH had an overdone, dry burger. We won't stop here again.
Crystal Palace Breakfast--Something for everyone. Choices were bountiful. Everything was good. You could put together a very healthy meal or indulge in all the sugary, cheesy delights you could want. Great service.
DS:
Pizza Planet--Same old Disney pizza you get everywhere else in the world (but my kids like it). Salads are fresh, but small-ish. I love the Ken's Ranch dressing that is served with salads now.
Mama Melrose: YUM! We did the Fantasmic Package (Fantasmic ended up cancelled due to rain), so it was TONS of food. We enjoyed everything. Our appetizers were mozzarella and tomato salad (good, but would have been better served at room temperature instead of cold), caesar salad and artisan breads and spreads (my favorite). Entrees were Penne a la Vodka, an Eggplant dish, Ribeye steak and Shrimp Fra Diablo (also had mussels, calamari and clams). Desserts were cheesecake, tiramisu (my favorite) and chocolate cake (a little dry). We'd happily return here.
AK:
Pizzafari: Pizza was WDW pizza. I got the Italian sandwich, which was very good. Also had breadsticks. The kids wouldn't eat them because they had a cheesy, spicy topping, but the adults enjoyed.
EPCOT:
Electric Umbrella: Chicken fingers and fries. Not much to say there.
Cantina San Angel: Okay THIS restaurant is the reason I look forward to going to WDW. And it did not disappoint. I love the burritos, nachos and margaritas. I preferred the traditional lime to the fiesta margarita. DH said the strawberry margarita made him ill.
Not at a park:
Port Royale Food Court (CBR): Plenty of choices, plenty of seating. Just what you'd expect from a hotel food court. Actually the tuna sandwich was unexpectedly large and good.
Whispering Canyon Cafe: DD's got the Ribeye steaks and ate every last bit. DH and I had the bottomless dinner skillet. The mashed potatoes were my favorite part. It was good, but not the best BBQ I ever had. I think I prefer Flame Tree BBQ.
I wish we had more time to eat at WDW!
