Park reservations- changing during trip

We are going in April and I have all 10 days booked with our park reservation. Question is if we decide we want to switch to a different park and that park has availability, what is the latest you can switch...day before, sooner, that day??

That would be awesome...especially if we do get RoTR and want to do another park that still has availablity.

Just make sure the park you’re changing TO has availability before you cancel

Thats my understanding.
The only scary part is cancelling your park pass before you can try and get the other one.
