Park reservations and changing your DVC reservations?

Just curious if anyone knows what could happen to your park reservations if you change part of your reservation. Not sure if this has been discussed/mentioned.

My scenario is that i have poly booked for the first part of my April trip. I booked AK for the second part in order to have a park reservation so i could book our parks. One 7 months rolls around i will cancel AK or modify to change so that we are at the poly the whole trip. Would making a change to my reservation affect our park reservations?

I feel it is all too new to really know and honestly with all the glitches in the system I'd be amused if they actually put in the technology to cancel park reservations if a hotel/DVC reservation is changed.

I have changed two different trips since Monday...changed resort and changed view.

Added days to two of them..Nothing happened to my park reservations.

I even transferred tickets from two of us that had multiple tickets linked to us and still, nothing has changed,

I do not think that they will go away unless someone who booked during this advanced time cancels and does not rebook.

Starting the 28th, no one even needs a reservation to book, only tickets.

I only got a resort stay confirmation for my DVC dates and not the cash portion of my split stay. Im wanting to alter 1 day in my cash stay so I'll report back if this causes issues.

I shifted my reservation by one day today and my previous park reservations remained after the modification, I then promptly added that last day for a park pass.
