Park Reservation with AP while staying onsite

We are staying onsite for 5 days in November. Everyone in my party has a Pixie Dust pass, for which you can hold 3 park reservations. However, I thought that meant 3 reservations in addition to reservations for days when you're staying onsite. When I made our park reservations for the first day, it told me I had 2 of 3 reservations remaining. Does anyone know how this works? Can I only get 3? Do I need to use the 3 reservations I'm entitled to with my Pixie Dust pass, and then I can get 2 more because we're staying onsite (i.e., the 3 are part of, not in addition to, the days we're staying onsite)? Or is there some other way I'm supposed to make the park reservations?

When you go to make the park reservations there should be 2 options. 1. Annual Pass and 2. Theme Park. You will have length of stay availibility with the second option.

You will be able to book the length of stay plus your 3 AP days. Make sure your resort reservation is linked in My Disney Experience. When you go to make the park reservation you will select " Make a Reservation with an Annual Pass". This will bring you to a next screen where you will choose between "book park reservation or "Book Reservation for Hotel Guest". Here you will select the latter. You will choose your resort stay and then be able to book the days of your stay.

Be sure you're choosing the "Park Reservations for Annual Passholders with a Disney Resort or other Select Hotel Stay" bucket and then clicking the specific resort hotel and dates you're booking for. That allows you to book park reservations for length of stay at the resort, separately from your offsite park reservations which would come from the bucket for AP holders who don't have a resort reservation.

Thanks! I didn't see the Select Hotel Stay when I booked the first time. MDE has been glitchy for me all day, so I'm not sure if it wasn't there or I just missed it. But it's all working now!

It's easy to miss - seems like you have to scroll down too far or something. Glad you found it!
